Using the inspiring motif of a spider mum, you will be introduced to basic embroidery techniques and to a naturalistic shading technique. The spider mum blossom will incorporate a variety of linear stitches with colour mixing to interpret the beautiful gradients in each petal. The foliage will introduce you to the long and short technique.
