Course Description: The Dogwood is the state flower of North Carolina and a beautiful emblem of Spring and the hope of new beginnings. This workshop combines shading techniques using thread mixing and stem stitch with contemporary goldwork techniques.

Techniques: Traditional and creative embroidery techniques including the following: stem stitch, thread mixing, trench knots with stretched purl and pearl purl.
